Cookies

You may be here because you have noticed a strange lack of a cookie banner. That's because we currently don't use cookies, however it's not impossible for that to change in the future if we start adding dynamic content that needs them, at which point you'll see that lovely banner and can check back here.

Some pages have YouTube embedded and are using "privacy-enhanced mode" which uses youtube-nocookie.com to avoid non-essential cookies and stores information locally (not in cookies) when the video is played.

Information We Collect

Website

We collect the following information, which is basically just web server logs of this static website:

• Usage Data: Your IP address, browser type, the page(s) visited and the time you visited them.

What this means practically is that when you visit a page on this website, the server creates a line in a file containing the time, the page or asset you visited, a short description of what your web browser reports itself as and a number indicating the status of the request (success, error etc). This is normal and happens on most of websites that you visit.

Currently the last 500 accesses and errors are retained for a maximum of 10 days and are automatically purged beyond either limit. The website and logs are backed up with a retention period of 7 days.

Applications

Our applications are designed with privacy in mind:

• No Data Collection: Our applications do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or usage information
• No Telemetry: We do not track how you use our applications

Where possible we also ensure the following apply to applications we produce.

• No Online Functionality: Our applications work entirely offline and do not connect to the internet
• Local Operation: All application functionality operates locally on your device

Exceptions may apply where an application is reasonably expected to communicate over a network by the end user for the purposes of the application performing its function. For example, a network camera needs to be able to communicate to a client to show the video.

How We Use Your Information

Website

Although we honestly don't do anything with the information we collect, it's possible in the future we may use it for:

• Understanding how people generally use our website and improve it using the access logs
• Fixing and detecting bugs in the website using the error logs

Applications

Since our applications do not collect any information, we do not use any data from our applications for any purpose. Apple collects information via your usage of the App Store, which is explained here. This results in us knowing how many downloads per day we receive by country.

As part of our supplier onboarding process suppliers are vetted to ensure they have a GDPR compliance program and appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to suit our position as an EU based company that cares about privacy and security.

We currently host this website on Infomaniak, with whom we have a data protection agreement as part of our GDPR compliance program. Through interacting with our website via web browsing you may share personal data as described above under "Information We Collect" with Infomaniak.

Application Distribution

Our applications may be distributed through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store. These platforms have their own privacy policies and terms of service. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies to understand how they handle your information during the download and installation process.

No Advertising or Analytics

Our applications do not contain any third-party advertising networks, analytics services, or tracking technologies.
